Toughened glass is also referred to as "tempered glass" or "fully tempered glass". Toughened Safety Glass is fabricated by heating annealed glass to over 600°C and cooling it down rapidly. It locks the outer surfaces of the glass in a state of high compression, and the core or center of the glass in compensating tension. It is a safety glass which is used when strength, thermal resistance and safety are all important factors in design. The strength of toughened glass is approximately 5 times stronger than annealed (non-safety) glass of the same thickness. Toughened glass panels including curved toughened glass, clear toughened laminated glass, toughened float glass, clear toughened insulated laminated glass used for windows, stairs, balcony, refrigerator shelf, balustrade, ect. The commonly used thickness is 6mm toughened glass panels, 8mm toughened glass panels, 10mm toughened glass panels, 12mm toughened glass panels, 15mm toughened glass panels, ect.
Custom tempered glass is four times stronger than standard glass. Its strength comes from its unique manufacturing process. Custom cut tempered glass is rapidly heated and immediately cooled during the manufacturing process. This increases its durability and strength.
This glass does not break into large, dangerous shards. Instead, it breaks into small, round particles, which reduces possible injuries and minimizes damage. In addition to impact resistance, tempered glass is also heat and scratch resistant.
Feature

Tempered glass has high strength, 3-5 times that of ordinary annealed glass, and has good bending and impact resistance. It can withstand the surface pressure of 95Mpa.
High security
When the tempered glass is broken, it becomes an obtuse-angled honeycomb particle, which ensures safety and is harmless to the human body. The tempering process greatly reduces the risk of thermal cracking and reduces losses.
Thermal stability
Tempered glass can withstand temperature changes of 250 to 320°C, while ordinary annealed glass can only withstand 20 to 100°C.

4. What's MOQ?
Normally MOQ is one 20 feet container. To start cooperation, it accepts smaller one like 2 or 3 crates.

The delivery time depends on the quantity, glass processing requirement and shipment location. Normally, samples will be 5-7 days, bulk orders will be 2-4 weeks after received the deposit.

7. Is quotation and sampling is free of charge?
Yes, BNG offers free estimation and technical support services. Samples smaller than 300x300mm is free. Courier cost is to be covered by buyer but will be reduced from future order value.

1) T/T (Payment amount≤1000 USD, 100% in advance. Payment amount≥1000 USD, 30% T/T in advance and balance before each loading).

13. It is common that glass is broken? What if glass is broken when I receive the cargo?
Glass is fragile, our experienced workers always make sure safe glass package durable for long voyage sea transportation. We seldom hear claim of glass broken from oversea customers. In case of glass broken, insurance company is going to cover the cost. We will reproduce for you.
14. What is the maximum size of glass you can produce?
BNG have biggest tempered surface in China, so we can provide biggest size upon your demand.
